We're Getting Our Reward ING-ON!

We're rewarding members for their referrals through the 'Referral Reward' program! All member-owners can participate, and, for organizations, you can use it as a 'Build ING-On Community Marketing Fundraiser.'

How to Participate:

Tell others about the co-op, its vision and member benefits.
If your referral becomes a Lifetime Member (one-time fee of $25) you will receive $5 .
If your referral purchases a Premium Advertising Package ($250 annually) you will receive $50. This is an annual fee, so in subsequent years, you will receive the referral reward each time the purchaser renews their advertising package. A membership is required to purchase the Premium Ad Package, so the initial cost is $275.

Build ING-ON Community Marketing Fundraiser

This fundraising opportunity can create residual income for your organization, and map your community on the INGON mobile app for travellers and locals alike.

To Start:

Create a list of the businesses and organizations in your community that traditionally support your efforts, or who may benefit from becoming a co-op member and utilizing their advertising services.

The Product:

Both a Lifetime Membership with the co-op (One-time fee of $25), and the Premium Ad Package are eligible for Referral rewards.

Contacting Potential Participants

Using the list you created above, reach out to each of your supporting businesses.
Share that your organization is a Lifetime Member of the Travel-ING On Co-op and are participating in a fundraiser that offers them advertising, and creates awareness for rural tourism across the province.
We suggest a phone call, or in-person visit, and this is not a standard type or fundraiser. Most fundraising campaigns ask for donations, event sponsorships, etc. This fundraiser asks them to advertise themselves with the Travel-ING On Tourism Cooperative.
Explain the program:
1. If they become a member, you will receive a $5 reward from their membership. The cost is $25.
2. If, in addition to their membership, they purchase an annual advertisement you will receive $50 from the $250 annual fee.
3. If they renew that advertisement in subsequent years, you will receive $50 for each renewal.
4. If they agree, send them the link to the membership application. They can choose their membership or a Premium Ad Package and membership.
5. Ask them to select your name from the drop-down list of available, or select other and type in your organization’s name.

Receiving Funds

Referrals are tallied monthly based on paid memberships and advertisements.You will be rewarded for your referrals via email money transfer by the end of the month.

The Finer Details:

You must be a Lifetime Member in good standing of the Travel-ING On Tourism Cooperative in order to participate.
INGON Referral Rewards are only issued for paid Memberships and Premium Advertising Packages.
It is the member's responsibility to ensure their referral indicates who referred them on the ‘Lifetime Membership Application’ form in order to be paid.
Any Lifetime Membership form that does not include the name of who referred them, or subsequent purchase of a Premium Advertising Package by the new member, will not be eligible for the Referral Rewards program.
Referral Rewards are calculated for each month (first to last day of each month) for approved Lifetime Membership applications and Premium Advertising Packages, where payment has been received. The Referral Rewards will be paid to the members in the following month.
Board members and staff of the Travel-ING On Tourism Cooperative are eligible to participate in the Referral Rewards program, unless other arrangements are made.
