Account & Data Deletion Instructions

 

This page explains how you can request full deletion of your account and personal data from the Travel INGON App, including data collected through Facebook Login and Google Sign-In. You do not need to have the app installed, or be able to log in, to submit this request.

 

What data we collect

When you create a Travel INGON account or sign in with Facebook/Google, we may store:

• Account information: email address, username, gender, profile picture

• Social login profile data: name, email, profile picture (from Facebook/Google)

• Location data you share with the app

• Photos you upload or capture within the app

How to request deletion

To request that we delete your Travel INGON account and all associated personal data:

1. Send an email to administration@ingon.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

2. Include the email address or username registered with your account.

3. If your account was created via Facebook or Google login, mention which one you used.

 

We will process your request and permanently delete your account and personal data within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

 

What gets deleted?

This is a full deletion, not a partial one: your profile, uploaded photos, location history, and any data linked to your account from Facebook or Google login are all removed. This action cannot be undone.

 

Some information may be retained beyond the deletion where required by law, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

 

Removing Travel INGON from your Facebook account

You can also disconnect Travel INGON from Facebook at any time via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. Removing the app there stops Facebook from sharing new data with Travel INGON, but does not by itself delete data we already stored — use the email request above for full deletion.
